Mikasa - Dinnerware

Mikasa, Inc. was found in 1948 by George Aratani. The company originated in California but its headquarters are now located in Secaucus, New Jersey. They are a dinner and glassware importer and distributor. I suspect their glassware is produced by the Durand Glass manufacturing Company in Millville, New Jersey as Durand and Mikasa are both part of ARC International based in France.

Bellamy

Mikasa produced the Bellamy pattern from 1991 to 1997. It has a cream backround, gold trim and white calla lilies.

French Lily

Mikasa made French Lily in two colors, jade and rose. The pattern was only produced for one year, 1995. The background is white with either the marbleized jade or rose swirls. The pieces are accented with gold.

Just Flowers

Mikasa produced Just Flowers from 1974 to 1996. It has a white background with orange, pink and blue flowers.

Perfect Pair

Mikasa Natural Beauty Perfect Pair is a pattern of two-white flowers with green leaves on a cream-colored background. The shapes are square. It was produced from 1986 to 1989.
