Homer Laughlin China - Dinnerware

The Homer Laughlin China Company began in 1897 in East Liverpool, Ohio, although Homer Laughlin himself had a few other pottery companies dating back to 1871. One of the company's more successful patterns was Fiesta which the company began producing in 1936, discontinued in 1973 and then reintroduced in 1986 with a greater variety of colors.

Country Sage

The Homer Laughlin Country Sage pattern was part of their Homestead Line produced in the late 1970s/early 1980s. I remember when pieces could be purchased through the local grocery store at a discount when you also purchased groceries. Each month a different piece was featured. Along with Country Sage wheich had the tan background and brown flecks throughout, there was also Country Strawberry (with a straberry pattern in the center of the dinner plate) and Country Wheat (with a spray of wheat in the center of the dinner plate). The serving pieces were all plain like the Country Sage pattern.

Country Strawberry

Homer Laughlin Country Strawberry was one of the Homestead line from the late 1970s/early 1980s. It features a tan background with brown flecks throughout. The center of the dinner plate depicts a strawberry plant.

Fiesta Apricot

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Apricot color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s -1980s. It of course was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s. This color has been discontinued.

Fiesta Black

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Black color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s -to the present. It of course was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s.

Fiesta Colbalt Blue

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the cobalt blue color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s to the present. It of course was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s which also included a cobalt blue color.

Fiesta Gray

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Gray color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s -1980s. It of course was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s. This color has been discontinued.

Fiesta Periwinkle Blue

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the periwinkle blue color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s to the present. It was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s.

Fiesta Rose

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Rose color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s -1980s. It was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s.

Fiesta Sea Mist Green

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the sea msit green color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s to the present. It, of course, was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s.

Fiesta Shamrock

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Shamrock color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s -1980s. It, of course, was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s. This color was produced in a limited production therefore, prices are higher.

Fiesta Sunflower Yellow

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in Sunflower yellow is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s to the present. It, of course, was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s.

Fiesta Tangerine

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Tangerine color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s to the present.

Fiesta Turquoise

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Turquoise color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s to the present.

Fiesta White

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the White color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s to the present. It of course was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s.

Fiesta Yellow

Homer Laughlin's Fiesta in the Yellow color is one of the later colors dating from the mid-1970s -1980s. It of course was inspired by the popularity of the original Fiesta pattern of the 1950s. This color has been discontinued.

Golden Wheat

The Homer Laughlin Golden Wheat dinnerware pattern has a cream background, gold trim and stalks of golden wheat.

Harlequin

Homer Laughlin's Harlequin pattern is similar to teh Fiesta line. It is a solid-colored pattern with bold colors.

Old Fiesta Rose

This is a color from the older Homer Laughlin Fiesta line of the late 1940s and 1950s.

Old Fiesta Yellow

This Homer Laughlin color is the old yellow of the late 1940s and early 1950s.

Old Fiesta Blue

This Homer Laughlin color is the old yellow of the late 1940s and early 1950s.

Oven Serve

Homer Laughlin's Oven Serve dinner and bakeware is very popular. It came in several colors and patterns.

Skytone

Homer Laughlin Skytone is, of course, a sky-blue color with white accents.

Splatter Blue

Homer Laughlin's Splatter Blue dinnerware is self-descriptive.

Tulip Egg Shell Nautilus

Homer Laughlin Egg Shell Nautilus Tulip pattern has a cream background with multi-colored tulips around the rim and a gold edge.
