Dansk is a company that was inspired by Scandinavian designs. The company was founded by Ted and Martha Nierenberg. The dinnerware is produced in several different countries, including Japan, Portugal and China.

Sky Blue Mesa

Dansk produced Mesa in a variety of colors, including Black, Sky Blue, Terracotta, Turquoise and White Sand. Sky Blue was produced from 1990 to 2004. I have pieces produced in Japan and Portugal and I can't see any difference in look or quality.
