Metlox' Colorstax is very reminiscent of Homer Laughlin's Fiesta Ware. Solid colors were the rage before World War II and then had another spurt of popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The Metlox Colorstax line done in the "Studio Potter Shape" date from 1978 to 1984. Colorstax Brick dates back to 1984.
