Red Rooster See also: Metlox Kitchenware, Metlox Housewares The Metlox solid colored Red Rooster pattern came out in 1956, one year after the "patterned" Red Rooster. The solid colored set was a brick red with a dark brown trim. Not all pieces were made in either pattern. The pattern was discontinued in 1979.
