Stangl Pottery was begun by J. Martin Stangl around 1930 when he bought the Fulper Pottery Company in New Jersey. However, the company name did not change until 1955 when it actually became Stangl Pottery. Stangl Pottery was purchased by Pfaltzgraff in 1978 and the Stangl lines ceased.

Amber Glo

Stangl produced Amber Glo from 1954 to 1978. The background is off-white with a pattern of small flames of grays, yellow and orange with a few tree leaves thrown in for good measure.

Stangl's Bittersweet pattern has an off-white background with circles of orange and orange flowers with green leaves. Bittersweet was produced from 1962 to 1978.

Blue Daisy

Stangl Blue Daisy sports blue flowers with brown berries and green leaves. The background is white with a blue scalloped trim. Blue Daisy was produced from 1963 to 1978.

Stangl Blueberry has a broad yellow band around the edge and a cluster of blueberries in the center. This pattern was produced from 1950 to 1978.

The Stangle Caughley patterns are a splatterware-like design. There were a wide variety of colors including yellow, blue, brown and pink.

Stangl Chicory has a white background with blue flowers and brown stems. The underside is also brown. It was produced from 1960 to 1978.

Country Garden

Stangl's Country Garden sports pink, blue and yellow flowers on a white background. There were two versions of this pattern, one with a brown bottom and the other with a white. The pattern was produced from 1956 to 1978.

Stangl Fruit and Flowers has a white background with a brown base. The design is just what it says: fruit and flowers. It was produced from 1957 to 1978.

Golden Blossom

Stangl produced Golden Blossom from 1964 to 1978. It features a floral spray of golen flowers with green leaves.

Golden Grape

Stangl produced Golden Grape from 1963 to 1978.

We don't know much about this line but evidently Stangl produced promotional items for at least the Hotpoint Company, if not others.

Stangl's Magnolia pattern has a pale green background with dark maroon magnolia blossoms and dark green leaves.

Orchard Song

Orchard Song by Stangl looks has a spray of green fruit on a white background with highlights of brown. The backside is also brown. Orchard Song was produced from 1962 to 1978.

Town and Country Orange

Stangl produced the Town and Country pattern in several colors: blue, yellow, orange, green, brown and black. It is a splatter pattern. Town and Country Orange was produced from 1974 to 1978.
