Noritake China - Dinnerware

Noritake is probably the most well-known of the the Japanese china companies. The company was founded by Baron Ichizaemon Morimura and was named after the village where the factory was built, Noritake, Japan. I can't begin to carry all the patterns but I do have various pieces from thirty-six patterns including a variety of the Progression series.

Angela

Noritake Angela Cook N'Serve is a plain white china. It was produced from 1959 to 1977.

Arabesque

Noritake Arabesque is a Progression pattern that was produced from 1966 to 1975.

Belda

Noritake Belda was produced from 1962 to 1971. It has a white background with gold trim, white flowers with tan and grey leaves.

Birds 'N Such

Noritake Birds 'N Such is a Progression pattern with a white background. The design is that of strawberries, plums, pears, cherries and blueberries.

Blue Haven

Blue Haven by Noritake is one of their Progression Patterns. It features blue flowers on a white background. This pattern was in production from 1966 to 1979.

Blue Moon

Noritake produced Blue Moon from 1969 to 1980. It has a white background and offers a blue floral pattern with green leaves. It was one of the Progression patterns.

Bright Side

Noritake Bright Side is a Progression pattern with a white background and orange/peach colored poppies. The pattern was produced from 1976 to 1982.

Century

Noritake Century is from their Progression line. It dates to 1970 to 1981 and is a white china with a brown circular pattern of flowers and geometric designs.

Colburn

Noritake Colburn was produced from 1960 to 1988. It has a white background with platinum trim, blue flowers and gray leaves.

Daisy

This Noritake Daisy pattern is very similar to Up-Sa-Daisy except the daisies are turquoise and brown.

Desert Flowers

Noritake Desert Flowers is a stoneware pattern that was produced from the late 1960/early 1970s to 1985. It has a tan background with brown trim and the pieces feature various desert flowers (there names are also shown on the pieces).

Dutch Treat

Noritake Dutch Treat has a white background with pink and green birds and flowers. This pattern was produced from 1964 to 1970.

Flower Time

Noritake Flower Time is another Progression pattern and was produced from 1975 to 1985. It has a white background with large yellow pansies.

Golden Lily

Noritake produced this elegant Golden Lily pattern from 1990 to 1998. It has a cream background with gold trim and is adorned with a delicate calalily.

Heritage 6228

Noritake produced two different Heritage patterns: 6228 and the more common, 2982. Heritage 6228 features two green birds on what looks like a weather vane. The background is white and there is a green trim around the edge.

Homecoming

The Noritake Homecoming pattern is from the Progression line and features a white background with a colorful border of fruits, birds and vines. The pattern was produced from 1966 to 1979.

Isabella

Noritake Isabella was produced from 1964 to 1982. It has a white background with grey, gold and white stripes around the rim and platinum trim.

King's Guard

Noritake produced King's Guard from 1986 to 1989. This elegant pattern has a white background with gold, black trim and a grey and gold rope-like trim.

Laurel

Noritake Laurel has an off-white background with brown leaves and berries with gold trim. The pattern was produced from 1958 to 1969.

Lorenzo

Noritake Lorenzo is white procelain with gold trim. The design is blue and gray.

Madrigal

Noritake's Madrigal pattern is a Primastone dinnerware. The pattern was produced from 1969 to 1979 and features burgandy-colored flowers on a cream background with burgandy border.

Mardi Gras

Noritake Progression Mardi Gras has a white background with a rim of yellow, brown, tan and orange speckled stripes on grey. The pattern was produced from 1969 to 1979.

Marguerite

Noritake Marguerite obviously gets its name from the white and yellow daisies (marguerites) around the edge. It was produced from 1966 to 1977.

Miyoshi

Noritake produced the Miyoshi pattern from 1975 to 1986. This elegant pattern has a cream background, gold trim and a border of blue and pink flowers.

Nippon

While Nippon is not really the name of this dinnerware, Noritake produced it prior to 1921 ( before the US imposed a regulation that all imported item had to bear the English name of the country of origin. Nippon is the Japanese name for Japan. Note the backstamp.

Orange County

Noritake produce Orange County from 1970 to 1976. With a white background it features - what else - oranges.

Palos Verde

Noritake's Palos Verde design is a circular pattern of green and yellow flowers. The pattern was produced from 1969 to 1979. It is one of their Progression dinnerware lines.

Prelude

Noritake Prelude is a white china with a black design on the border and platinum trim. It was produced from 1969 to 1981.

Provincial

Noritake's Provincial pattern is done in brown, green and orange on a white background. It is one of the Progression patterns and was produced from 1970 to 1979.

September Song

Noritake's September Song is from their "Cook 'N Serve" line. It has a awhite background and a green and brown floral design. It was made from 1969 to 1976.

Springfield

Springfield is a Noritake Progression pattern that was produced from 1969 to 1978. It has a white background with a borad border of yellow and blue flowers with green leaves.

Sunny Side

Noritake Sunny Side is a Progression pattern with a white background and zinnia-like flowers. The pattern was produced from 1966 to 1970.

Tisdale

Noritake Tisdale has a white background with a predominately green and gold band border. It was produced from 1978 to 1987.

Tressa

Tressa is a Noritake Progression pattern that was produced from 1969 to 1978. It has a white background with black, white and yellow flowers.

Up-Sa Daisy

This Noritake pattern features turquoise daisies on a white background. The pattern was produced from 1966 to 1979.

Willowbrook

Noritake Willowbrook is a pink floral pattern with gold trim. It was produced from 1979 to 1987.
