West Bend - Barware

The West Bend Company began as West Bend Aluminum Company in 1911 in West Bend, Wisconsin. Since that time, they have been producing various types of cookware. The name changed to West Bend Company in 1961. They are still one of the top U.S. producers of cookware. Look for thier penguin ice buckets under "Barware."

Penguin Ice Bucket

Although this item is common called an ice bucket, it's uses varied. Often it is used as a warmer as well. It is well insulated to keep foods either hot or cold. It came with either the plastic (seen here) or wooden handles.
