Treasure Craft or Pottery Craft - Housewares

Treasure Craft of California (also known as Pottery Craft) is located in Compton, California. They produce a variety of items including cookie jars, ashtrays and souvenir pieces. They produced a chip and dip similar to Whittier's and Metlox's only Treasure Craft made it in brown as well as white. For a time, there was a plant located in Maui, Hawaii.

Cookie Jar

Treasue Craft made a wide variety of kitchen and houseware items. Their line included cookie jars. These jars often took the form of animals or birds and an occasional southwestern cacti.

Sombrero Chip and Dip

Treasure Craft is known for making decorative yet practical kitchen and house ware items. The idea of making a sombrero-shaped chip and dip plate is not unique to Treasure Craft. Metlox and Western Pottery also produced this same shape. The Treasure Craft plate came in several color combinations.

Vase

The Treasure Craft Company made numerous vases of different sizes and shapes. The are noted for the artificial wood look they gave to so much of theri pottery.
