The company is still in operation today in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. |

Moon and StarsThe Moon and Stars pattern was produced by several different companies but the most well-known for its Moon and Stars pattern is the Smith Glass Co. Items produced range from canisters sets to glassware, candy dishes and vases as well as other decorative pieces. | ![]() |
Mt. Pleasant Double ShieldL. E. Smith's Mt. Pleasant "Double Shield" pattern was made in several colors. By far, the most popular with collectors is the cobalt blue and the black. Many of these items were given away as premiums at hardware stores. The pattern dates to 1920 - 1934. | ![]() |
