L. G. Wright Glass Company - Glassware

The L. G. Wright Glass Company was a distributor of glassware manufactured by other companies such as Fenton, Fostoria, Morgantown, etc. but produced on L. G. Wright's own molds. For this reason, and the fact that paper labels were used, it is sometimes extremely difficult to tell who manufactured a given piece. L. G. Wright Glass closed in 1999. When the plant closed, many of the molds were sold to Japanese firms who are now manufacturing reproductions but the colors and weight of the items are not the same as the originals.

Daisy and Button

L. G. Wright produced or had produced numerous items in the Daisy and Button pattern including vases, trays, plates, fans and goblets.

Daisy and Cube

Wright Daisy and Cube is a heavy pressed glass. It came in a wide variety of colors and also has etched versions.

Eyewinker

L. G. Wright Eyewinker is a pressed glass pattern of bubbles and arches.

Moon & Stars

The Moon and Stars pattern was produced by several different companies but the most well-known for its Moon and Stars pattern is the Smith Glass Co. Items produced range from canisters sets to glassware, candy dishes and vases as well as other decorative pieces.

Paneled Grape

L. G. Wright had its own version of the paneled grape design. It was produced in amethyst, amber, green and blue.

Wild Rose

While attributed to L. G. Wright Glass Company, Wild Rose was actually manufactured by Fenton Glass for L. G. Wright. It came in a variety of colors and at least four sizes; juice, wine, water and ice tea.
